Enable Map Filters

There are two types of map filters that can be utilized:
  1. Toggle Map Filters: Use this filter to refine your search for a specific type of weather event
  2. Toggle Map Layers: Use this filter to adjust what weather maps are visible in the Maps tab 

Toggle Map Filters

Mobile App

1.  Select the Maps tab













2.  Tap the Search button or any Location


3.  Tap Maps tab



4.  Above the weather events, tap Toggle Map Filters



5.  From the list, select Filters and Ranges for the weather events
  1. Turning off the "radius" filter will search for weather events that have hit just that location
  2. Each addition filter applied is an "and". For example, enabling "Hail Size Range 2"-4'" and "Wind Speed Range 70mph-130mph" will search for weather events that meet both criteria. 



6.  Tap Confirm


Browser App

1.  Along the left-hand bar, select the Maps tab



2.  Under the Maps tab, click Toggle Map Filters



3.  From the list, select Filters and Ranges for the weather events 
*Each addition filter applied is an "and". Example: "Hail Size Range 2"-4'" and "Wind Speed Range 70mph-130mph"



4.  Click Confirm




Toggle Map Layers

There are two ways to navigate to the Toggle Map Layers: On the Maps tab screen and when searching for weather events.



From Maps Tab

Mobile App

1.  Along the bottom bar, select Maps tab



2.  Tap Toggle Map Layers along the right-hand side



3.  Enable select Maps and their Opacity levels



4.  Tap Confirm




Browser App

1.  Along the left-hand bar, select Maps tab


2.  Click Toggle Map Layers along the right-hand side


3.  Enable select Maps and their Opacity levels


4.  Click Confirm


Searching for Weather Events

Mobile App

1.  Along the bottom bar, select Maps


2.  Tap the Search button or a Location


3.  Select Maps tab


4.  Tap Toggle Map Layers above the weather events 


5.   Enable select Maps and their Opacity levels


6.  Tap Confirm




Browser App

1.  Along the left-hand bar, select Maps tab


2. Under the search bar, select the Maps tab


3.  Click Toggle Map Layers above the weather events 


4.  Enable select Maps and their Opacity levels


5.  Click Confirm
