Sunbase offers Rooferbase, an all-in-one business management platform built specifically for roofing companies. From lead generation and sales to project management and post-job referrals, Sunbase tracks the entire customer journey in one place.  


With the HailTrace + Sunbase integration, contractors can do more than just track door knocks, organize teams, and close deals—they can be first to the storm impacted areas that matter most.

Powered by HailTrace’s weather data and Sunbase’s all-in-one field sales tools, this integration puts targeting, canvassing, and conversion all inside one seamless platform..

What the Integration Does

Once the integration is enabled, you’ll have access to HailTrace’s industry-leading weather data directly inside Sunbase. This makes it easier than ever to plan, target, and manage your storm-driven sales efforts—all in one place.

The following map layers will be accessible based on your HailTrace subscription:

  • All Perils: View hail, wind, and tornado maps

  • All Map Types: Includes both meteorologist-drawn and algorithm-generated storm paths

  • Historical Access: Access all years of historical storm data available under your current Maps Subscription or individually purchased maps

  • Overlay & Targeting: Overlay maps in-app to prioritize storm-affected areas, plan canvassing routes, and support insurance claim documentation

Access & Availability

  • Who Gets Access: Once an admin connects the integration in Sunbase, all team members under that account will be able to use the maps

  • What You’ll See: Map access in Sunbase reflects your current HailTrace Maps Subscription and any individual maps you’ve purchased


Integration Requirements

To complete the integration, you must have:


Setup Instructions

Mobile App

1.  Login to the mobile app and tap More



2.  Tap Settings



3.  Tap API Keys



4.  Tap Create New API Key



5.  Name the key and select Sunbase as the application

6.  Tap Create
​

7.  Copy the key and paste the API Key into the Sunbase settings

Browser App

1.  Login to the browser app and click the Personal Settings tab



2.  Select API Keys



3.  Click Create New API Key



4.  Name the key and choose Sunbase as the application


5.  Click Save

6.  Copy the key and paste API Key into Sunbase
