Understanding RoofTrace™ Roles and Permissions

RoofTrace™ roles determine what sub-users in your account can see and do with roof data. Assigning the right role ensures your team has the tools they need—whether that’s simply viewing roof values or managing custom pricing and opportunities.

For accounts with Canvassing, certain roles also determine whether RoofTrace™ data automatically flows into your Opportunity Pipeline.

Plan: RoofTrace Data

RoofTrace Admin: Can view and edit Custom Pricing List and see all RoofTrace Data. Best for account admins who manage company pricing.
RoofTrace User: Can view RoofTrace Data and read-only Custom Pricing List, but cannot edit. Best for sales reps who need quick roof estimates without managing pricing.

Plan: RoofTrace Data & Canvassing (Seat-Based)

Note: Roles with Canvassing in the name use a Canvassing seat from your subscription.

RoofTrace Admin: Can view and edit Custom Pricing List and see all RoofTrace Data. Does not consume a canvassing seat.
RoofTrace User: Can view RoofTrace Data and read-only Custom Pricing List, but cannot edit. Does not consume a canvassing seat.
RoofTrace Canvassing Admin: Can view and edit Custom Pricing list, view RoofTrace Data, and prefill the Opportunity Price with RoofTrace values. Best for canvassing managers who oversee both pricing and opportunities. Uses a canvassing seat.
RoofTrace Canvasser: Can view RoofTrace Data, view read-only Custom Pricing List, and prefill the Opportunity Price with RoofTrace values. Best for field reps canvassing neighborhoods. Uses a canvassing seat.
