Set Up JobNimbus Integrations

Understanding Integration

JobNimbus is a tool for contractors that organizes, tracks, and automates the process of everything from gathering leads to collecting payments. You can integrate your JobNimbus account into the HailTrace app to have a cohesive list of contacts and assets.

Steps to setup integration

  1. Create a JobNimbus API Key
  2. Paste JobNimbus API Key into the HailTrace app (see steps below)

How integration works

  1. Contact

    1. When a contact is created in JobNimbus or the HailTrace app, the contact will show up in the corresponding app.
  2. Asset

    1. In JobNimbus, a contact's Address is linked to the Asset feature in the HailTrace app. Thus, when an address is added to a contact in JobNimbus, the HT app creates an asset corresponding to that location.
      1. Note: In the HailTrace app, the contact will be linked to the new asset as "owner".
    2. In the HailTrace, if a contact is linked to an asset as the "owner", the asset's address will be added to the contact's address in JobNimbus. 
      1. IMPORTANT: The HailTrace app allows contacts to be an "owner" of multiple assets. However, the first asset to be linked will be the contact's address in JobNimbus. Any other assets linked to the HT contact will not override the address in JobNimbus.
  3. Status

    1. JobNimbus:
      1. When a contact is created in the HailTrace app, the contact in JobNimbus will be given a "Workflow Status" that you set. See Setup Integration below for steps. 
    2. HailTrace:
      1. In JobNimbus, when an address is added to a contact, it triggers an asset to be created in the HailTrace app. That Asset will be be given an default Opportunity Status "JobNimbus" If you have the canvassing product, the status can be updated and moved along the opportunity pipeline.
  4. Delete

    1. Deleting a contact, asset, or address in JobNimbus or the HailTrace app does not delete it in the other app.




Steps to Setup Integration



1.  Along the left-hand bar, select Company Settings


2.  Select Integrations




4.  Select the Workflow Type from JobNimbus that you want as the default *All contacts created in HailTrace will show up in JobNimbus with the "Workflow Status" inside the "Workflow Type" you select here


5.  Select the Workflow Status inside the Workflow Type you selected above
