Utilize the Inspector Tool to View Storm Data and Generate Lead Lists in the Mobile App

The Inspector Tool lets you quickly analyze storm data right from your map — now available in the mobile app. With a single tap, you can enter inspection mode, review hail and wind details, and request new lead lists — all without leaving the map.

Previously, this level of insight was only available on the web browser, but with the mobile app update, you can now access the same powerful storm data and lead request features directly from your phone or tablet.

Whether you’re tracking a fresh storm or analyzing an older one, the Inspector Tool makes it easy to gather the insights you need and take action immediately.

View Storm Data

The Inspector Tool gives you instant access to key storm insights directly on the map. By selecting any point within a storm path, you can view estimated hail size, wind speed and direction, the date and time of the storm, and even historical storm paths or overlapping events — all in real time as you move across the map.

1. Download a Weather Event
Make sure you’ve downloaded a storm event before using the Inspector Tool.

2. Select the Inspector Tool on the Right-Hand Side
A crosshair or target marker will appear in the center of your map

3. Move or tap Anywhere on the Map to View Storm Details
The Inspector Tool automatically displays real-time data for that swath, including:
  1. Estimated hail size
  2. Wind speed and direction
  3. Date and time of the event
  4. Number of impacted properties

4. Tap the Inspector Tool button again to turn it off and return to standard map view

Request Lead Lists

Lead lists provide property and contact details (address, name, phone, email) for Assets, Commercial, and/or Residential properties in a selected area. You can generate them from a chosen area, a canvassing campaign, or a specific weather event swath.

They’re ideal for identifying storm-affected customers and can be used for cold calls, targeted ads, or mail campaigns.

Pro Tip: Use the Inspector Tool right after a storm hits to identify fresh opportunities fast — the sooner you request, the more actionable your data will be.

1. Download a Weather Event
Before generating leads, make sure to download a weather event so storm map is visible. This ensures the Inspector Tool can identify properties affected by that event.

2. Tap the Inspector Tool on the right-hand side of the map
A crosshair or target marker will appear in the center of your map.

3. Tap anywhere within the storm path to move the target marker and define the area where you want to pull leads.

4. Tap Request Leads

5. Choose Your Lead Type
  1. Residential — Single-family homes or neighborhoods impacted by the storm.
  2. Commercial — Businesses, offices, and industrial properties within the selected area.
  3. Assets — Custom or pre-defined assets tied to your account for focused lead generation.

6. After selecting your lead type, tap Request.
The system will process your request and notify you once the lead list is ready to view or download.
